Ring tailed Lemur

me and my friend both want a Lemur, so purely for the purpose of our love for them, lol, can someone send me some infor on where i could get one from, or a rough price and their needs...

Yes, glidergirl is right. Also, they need company of their own kind, so you can't just get one.

I was just going to mention about the noise. You're neighbours won't thank you! We have enough trouble keeping ours sweet with the owl screeching!!

And a cricket or two that might have wandered next door.

Dread to think what they'd say about lemurs!!
We have a pair of ringtails (and 2 babies) and they're not noisy. Are you thinking of Ruff Lemurs - now they ARE noisy!

Oh - our lemurs are not for sale BTW.

This is just to back up what has already been said:

1] You should be looking at a pair, not a single.

2] You will need a dwa and pl [Dangerous Wild Animals' Licence & Public Liability Insurance]

3] You will need a sizeable enclosure, that will cope with the lemurs requirements and stimulation.

4] You should have if not already have done extensive research on your chosen species.

5] And as Marie has said its not the Ring Tails that are the noisy ones, more like the Ruffed species which can make a hell of a racket.
