Hi! Sunday is my pet snake's birthday, and I'm throwing a party for her on Tuesday-Wednesday. The party has everyone I know who likes snakes, plus my pet snake herself. I was thinking of making homemade snake treats, but I can't find any recipes. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks so much!

Do you mean like dog treats for snakes? She likely wouldn't eat anything other than whole prey. Out of curiosity, what do you feed your white headed blind snake, larvae and worms? They aren't exactly common in the hobby, is she wild caught?
Tbf, you used to be able to get sausages for snakes, made from minced up rodents. Don't think they were very popular though.

True, though I recall a lot of people saying their snakes refused to eat them. Either way I doubt a mashed up rodent would be a particularly appetising birthday treat.

OP, I'm guessing your blind snake is one you caught? If so I would strongly suggest you let it go where you found it. These are specialised, fossorial snakes. You me too that it "loves dried prey" is also worrying. Thyley need live prey, not something that has been dried out and dessicated.
I had the same thought. I googled their care and mostly found posts/articles by people, even those with a lot of reptile experience, who had blind snakes die after a few weeks or months in captivity. They're far from a beginner species. OP, I would also recommend you release your blind snake, as it's unlikely to survive long. Throwing a birthday party for it will only cause more stress

I feed her dry prey just as a treat, but she mostly eats live prey. Mine is doing just fine, I've been caring for her really well. She hasn't gotten sick yet.
