can i put plantation soil in an egg laying box for my leopard gecko? do i need to make sure it’s moist? she’ll be laying in around 2 weeks

I'm not sure what the plantation soil consists of so not sure if that's suitable. Some people go for moss in their lay spots, I prefer a soil sand mix. You just need something that will hold its structure as they dig, and will hold moisture.
