What lucky torts! They're gonna have a ball!

Just makes me feel all the worse though for the ones that are stuck in tanks. =/

Thanks.

Like i said it was a pleasure building it and was a nice little project.
They seem to enjoy it.

Starting on the pond project today lol.

Do you leave them in it when you go to out etc?

I'm suprised no one trys to take them! :gasp: They would in Teesside any way :(

You'd need an electric fence and a gaurd tower where I live, with armed guards with dogs patrolling 24/7!

GREAT enclousure mate, looks like one you'd see at a zoo, lucky torts hope they make friends with the gator.. ;)

its very professional too! :p :notworthy:

There are 2 babys in there. (well they are both just under 2 years old)

:)

Wow Good job!
I'm building one for my two little Spur-Thighs soon.
They're gunna have a free roam between a small greenhouse and
a walled area. :)

Nice croc.

I'm impressed with the effort you put in here :) It looks awesome and I'm sure they love it!
What I was wondering though, isn't it too cold for them outside? I have no idea about the heat they need or anything, maybe you could let me know? I take it there not like your average snake or gecko? (that's all I have)
:)

Hi Paul
I have read with interest the building of this great enclosure and as I, and probably many of us are spending the cold days planning next years garden, I wanted to ask a couple of questions now your torts have been using it for a while.

Do they use the lamp outdoors and does it provide sufficient heat?

Do they use their outdoor house?

If you could change anything or do anything differently what would it be?

Thanks for your help. Pat

ive searched pages upon pages looking for outdoor enclosure pics for more ideas, and now found a brill one.wow that is an awesome enclosure, well thought out.similar to my own without the predator proofing, and external light.im gunna get 1 now though i always bring our 2 in at night. again amazing job on the build, they are definatly gunna have a very happy life:2thumb::notworthy:

If I'm right, the enclosure has gone, and the owner sold the tortoises. I think, I'm sure he'll reassure you on that one though.
