I have been monitoring my spider female and according to the dates she was locked with my male pastel on 03.04.09, 24.04.09 and 25.04.09. Since then she fully shed on the 19.05.09. According to the time-frame of events it has been 24 days from the last time of locking until she fully shed. Again this time-frame seems to be correct so far give or take a few days. Well apparently from pre-lay shed to laying there is another 26-30 days or so. That means my girl has another 10-14 days if she is going to lay. Although she seems to be going through the cycle of events like clockwork I am seriously doubting that she is going to lay. I don't really see the usual behaviour associated with a royal about to lay. She doesn't sit coiled, haven't seen her body turned upright and she doesn't seem to be that restless. Have any of you guys who have bred your royals seen a female go against the laws of natural behaviour in regards to laying?
