Okay so our Ball Python didn't use to have the best of sheds, in that it would all come off but like he exploded, sometimes eye cap would be an issue but we could get them off. Finally got it to where he has been shedding in one piece but seemed to have stuck eye cap we couldn't get off. When didn't come off at next shed took him to the vet hoping they could remove with a bit more skilled help but all they told us was what we knew already and we're completely useless and waste of money.
Anyway he ate couple of days ago and when I looked earlier there was a shed, dry (not sure when shed exactly, may have missed it when feeding?!). First of all disappointed because no clear eye caps in shed and was going to take him out for a soak but when moving his log found a brilliant head shed with eye caps(see pic), so my question is if last shed was stuck eye cap but now a good one will the stuck one be gone too (I can't get him out easily to check because he's gone and wedged himself in his log) just thinking about layering. It's my understanding that when in blue there is a layer between new skin and old so it separates so stuck eye cap should be gone now, yes?!
