My boa hates the bath and it's a real battle to get it to stay in.

The picture suggests yours appears to have similar trait, choosing to navigate the top rather than staying in the water!

thanks yeah he's getting very large now :gasp: but he does like a bath every couple of weeks. ive never found any mites on him but I mainly bath him to keep his scales really clean and shiny. :2thumb:

I have a big 8ft boa who I put in a big 74litre rub, with the lid on then fill the rub half way with warm water and give him a if you will steam bath.

I would drill some hole in the lid for air......
