Hello All

Are the leaves of the bramble (Blackberry) Bushes ok to give to Bearded Dragon's.
If so are they any good nutritionally and can they be used as a staple veg?

Thanks in advance

blackberry leaf isn't all that nutritious but is safe to eat - chopped finely in salads. It is used in herbal medicine to treat sore throats and diarrhea.

safe but not a staple.

Raspberry leaf is much better - high in calcium and vitamins and minerals generally - but again probably not a staple as it has highish levels of vitamin A

very good for childbirth, menopause, sore throats, tummy upsets......:whistling2:

That is a good starter list but there are a lot of plants that aren't on the list, especially wild ones - willowherb, for example, is edible, extremely high in calcium and has a good calcium to phosphorous ratio, it would make a good staple at certain times of the year but you won't find it on that list
