Hey all,

I have a couple of crested gecko eggs cooking and a on wednesday noticed a small slit with a bit of yolk coming out and thought this is it :D On Thursday there was a further tiny hole but since then nothing. I candled them on Thursday and still saw movement. Its now sunday and nothing further has developed. How long does it take for them to get out of the egg or when should i start worrying?

Thanks

Chris

Thanks for the reply Sue. Incubated at room temp. Found the eggs on the 10th December by chance. Have bioactive substrate so don't regularly check this was a full clean. Female was 44g pre lay

No baby yet!

Last full clean was 2 an half 3 months prior due to bioactive substrate so she could have laid awhile ago and i would have missed it.

When i found the eggs i weighed her and she was sitting at 38g. Seperated from the male and eating has continued to be good throughout.

Hatchling set up all ready just waiting....fingers crossed!

I dont want to intervene with the egg as i think ill do more harm than good so i will let nature takes its course.
