does the cold kill crikets

i orderd some from lives foods they are meant to be here today and are not yet was wondering as its soooo bloody cold here will they peg it b4 i get them ?

I used to put crickets in the fridge overnight and when I opened the fridge they would look dead but like purejurrasic says, leave them a while to warm up and hey presto! Unless they have got too cold of coarse!

Extended cold will kill crix but they are pretty indesrtuctible little buggers. Don't order locusts by post this time of year unless your supplier is totally on the ball. Mine is, thank God.
Black crix stand cold best, then banded, then silents. Think it relates to how warm their wild conditions are.
Just like us, if they're cold, there won't be any breeding going on, either.
