The only way it could be too big is if it won't be able to find the food.

As long as you are sure that it will get fed ok then it will be fine.

Although it may look a little lost in a large Exo, lol.

would you say a 30 by 30 by 30 would be better suited that a 30 by 30 by 45

im just thinking about the height hard to grasp as i never seen a full mantis manovour really
mantids often hang from the top of their enclosure if it's mesh , either that or they'll spend a lot of time hanging and rarely touch the bottom substrate, as long as there's ample hanging space to moult (three times the height of the mantis minimum) and a few perches it should be fine.
as long as it can catch food there shouldnt be anything wrong with using it, if it's too big you can always setion off one side with something.

well would a mantis going into its last molt have room with a 30cm height drop ?

hes male but want it future proof he wont live forever
30cm is more than enough for a Tenodera :2thumb:
