Fab thanks for your opinion and tip! In your opinion what are they like to keep?I agree with Sue.I nearly got a pair in Hamm 2 years ago but was told they were only feeding on live fish.So i waited until Sue had hers feeding on whole pinkies had to wait quite a few months but glad i did they are doing amazingly well and eating everything that is put in front of them.

Fab! Do you sell them then? i mean i'm not looking to buy anything until mabye next year but i really want to get all my research done before i decide to buy one.Hiya
It would depend where you brought it from whether you would have to feed it pinkie heads. For those I breed I always put the extra work into them and refuse to sell them before they are strike feeding whole pinkies ... you might not be so lucky buying else where, and often I've heard of people bringing them back from the Euro shows which have feeding difficulties.
So when buying make sure you always ask, whether its feeding on pinkie parts or whole, whether its assist fed or strike feeding and the hatch date of the hatchling.
An adult would be happy in a 3x2x2, give it some branches for climbing and basking and lots of foliage for cover, of course if you could go for some extra height that would be appreciated too as they are semi arboreal.

Thanks for all that! fantastic information there :2thumb:.I have a few basic notes on my website which you might find useful, any specific questions just ask on the forum and I'll do my best to answer.
I dont want to direct you away from RFUK, but the ratsnake foundation has a number of Rhino Ratsnake keepers so you would get the benefit from a pool of information and varied experiences from experienced keepers/breeders.
