Silkworms in the Fridge?

If I was to buy silkworms that were the desired size could I keep them in the fridge like mealworms?

If so how long would they live for in the fridge?

All the caresheets I have looked at are about breeding etc.

silkworms in a fridge = dead silkworms.
They are best kept at warm room temperature. If you want to slow down their development into cocoons, reduce their food perhaps to every 3 days. This will only delay the inevitable, however, not stop it.
