Ok so after reading my "How to send Tarantula's thourgh the post" I did'not really explane how to use heat pack's. So now I will :2thumb: please dont be afraid to ask this forum about any worrys or problems, I'm shure everyone will be glad to help you. To help you follow this guide I will post picturs and advice on what I think should be manditory during the cold days and nights trough the post. You will not need heat pack's during the summer it's hot enough.
Lets start:
Ok so now we have the box kitted out with tissue in this case but newspapper is ok (see pic)

See how I have made two well's, top one for the tub holding the Tarantula(s) and bottom well for the heat pack. I have made a wall of tissue down the middle, YOU DO NOT WANT THE HEAT PACK IN ANYWAY TOUCHING YOU TUB HOLDING YOUR T(S).
Next we will activate the heat pack to do this just open the wrapping, you can give it a shake to speed up the heating process. Next you will need (and I strongly recommend this) a empty tissue roll, toilet tissue tubes are the best.

Fold heat pack (lengthways') in half and slide into tissue tube. If you have a sticky pad on heat pack rip them off before inserting into the tube.

With the tissue tube it allows a constant flow of air (the better the air flow the better the pack works). Now pack the heat pack allowing air to flow but not letting the tube or pack to touch the tub. To prevent the tube touching you can pack tissue or newspaper between the tub and tube, haha the tub and tube will make a good pub name sorry back to the guide.

now cover and close up your done. :no1:

Offski to poski :lol2:

Amazing effort! Thank you so much!

I'm ashamed to admit that it was I who cooked Lisa's huntsman as I hadn't used heatpacks before and had no idea they got that hot. Total rookie error resulting in the totally preventable death of a beautiful healthy H. venatoria.

Without question, STICKY!!!! Thanks again.
