Hi All.
Hope you can help me.
We have two dwarf Hermanns tortoises, they are about 9 months old ( we have had them for about three weeks ).
The one is quite a bit larger than the other, we need to know if their weights are about right.
Babs is 48 gramms and 59 mm long.
Pikey is 55 gramms and 65 mm long.
They are both eating well and are both active, they are in a wooden vivarium, with the doors removed, and seem to be in good health.
Is the jacksons ratio relevant for Dwarf Hermanns?
Cheers
Chris J.

Sorry but there is no such thing as a dwarf hermans.
They are hermani hermani, using the correct name gets better results and information. Not having a go just helping to get the right info for you:2thumb:

The jackson ratio would not be suitable for HH.
Are you sure they are HH?

Hi Purplepixie and Tina.

I am told by the person I bought them from they are Hermanni Hermanni, sorry for the wrong description.
Looking at photo's that other people have posted, and on other websites, I would agree with the previous owner.
I will take a photo of them when they wake tomorrow if I have time.
Cheers

Look forward to the pictures.
Its just so many keepers see hermani on the paperwork and think they have HH, but usually its HB.
HH are treated slightly differently to HB. So correct ID is important.
