Hi there
I have a question on my young snake Teddy (Theodore!) I have attached a pic. He was born in late July and he (not sexed yet though) is feeding great and I have no issues with behavior as I have been handling regularly and after a little time Teddy is ok with me handling and seems to like chilling out in my hands.
Only thing is, there is a missing scale on his head, he had this when I got him and it does not seem to be bothering him. He has shed fine too by the way since I have had him. The breeder seemed to have the hatchlings in a large container together with holes drilled in the sides for air. I assume Teddy got his injury poking his head through the holes. My question is, I have read that scales grow back in time, is this true? and how long would this take?
Thanks in advance, Becky
