Another similar product is zoo med shed aid, comes in a pump spay and you apply directly, rub in and it helps the shedding process.
Does make a difference, but stuck/stobborn shed like youve got will nearly always need a few soaks.

Like youve said in the video, never pull/peel the skin yourself.
Rub/brush it (i use a soft toothbrush when applying shed aid or removing any loose bits)

I tend to have a few bottles of shed aid always on standby, it is just something I have learned to expect seeing over the years, problem sheds. Certainly good for a quick fix solution with the rescues, but I am concerned at the amount of keepers who consistently have to go back to using them every other month.

In my experience good humidity and hydration practices cause all my lizards to explode out of their skins, (even the iguanas with entire rows of spikes coming off at once) if this isn’t happening, it definitely is an underlying husbandry or health problem, and I think this is far more important for owners to address in the long term.

But yeah, they have their uses. :2thumb:

I agree completely.
Ive noticed, bearing in mind its with beardies, that the better they tend to be with eating veg the easier a time shedding is.

Veg tends to be a main supply of water for them, live is too when properly gutloaded and kept well.

I've found it useful to have for the odd bit that doesnt dry and come away on its own, its not every shed, but its useful to have around just in case.
