Which non-venomous snake has the largets teeth?
I've heard different opinions on this, some people say ETB's, others say ATB's but which is it? :2thumb:
Any pics of the teeth would be great :2thumb:

I would say ETB, my ATB has decent size teeth, but nowhere near as big as the ETB tooth pics I have seen.

Gtp's arn't actually that big, its the number that tends to give them the bad reputation.

Heres an adult female emerald skull i prepared a few weeks ago:

And heres an adult male chondro skull. Sorry for lack of size referance, its about 1/3 of the size of the emerald.

If anyone has a carpet in their freezer please let me know, i dont have a carpet skull yet.

Wicked. Bet they hurt when they bite too haha. And no not at all, longest, largest, most teeth, all is interesting hehe.
The only time she gets handled is when we need to do something with her, like antibiotics or a good clean. We got her when she was really poorly, and she was the same even then. We have a long handled hook for when she needs to come out of the viv. I think the terms of her life is, you can look, just make sure you look from afar.
Good idea! she sounds a feisty one :2thumb:

ooh they look nasty!

Holy moly :gasp:
i feel sorry for the poor mice/rats it eats!!! LOL

Here's an ETB that i found on google

So ETBs and ATBs have bigger teeth than these guys then?:

Image

I would GLADLY take a tag off an ETB / ATB over a big Afrock or similar...
I would imagine one of the giants would have the largest non venomous teeth?! Particularly:

:2thumb:

ETB's as been said - I have been bitten and I can confirm that a bite off a 3 foot subadult etb was more painful than a feeding bite off a 7 foot boa

The teeth hit the bone and it hurt muchly

oooh!! bet that killed and bled a lot!!

Yup... Got bit on the toe... She mistook it for a rat =(
lol your toe must have stank of rats!! hehe. i don't fancy a bite from one!
Chinese medicine.

Well i just don't like the idea of em going to waste so i mount them as a display. Got a load of nice skins in the freezer which are going to be made into a wallet for myself. And a few for displays for people in the near future.

Hope this helps:2thumb:

If its just the biggest teeth in comparisom to the snake, emeralds win. Using your logic then what about a 21ft retic? And afrocks and burms have bigger teeth in comparisom to skull size as their structure is different. I bet an 20ft afrock would have bigger teeth than any retic.
that is so cool!!! i want one :mf_dribble:do you sell the skulls?

eddy. scaley on here has my dearly departed junglejag in his freezer

i suppose its how you look at it, wether its to do with size in comparison to the rest of the snake or overall size, i think a big retic would win on overall size, etb in comparison to the rest of the snake.
