I'm not interested in anyones moral opinions on hybrids, nor am i looking to purchase these species now or in the future.
I was simply wondering if anyone has any ADULT pictures?
I see so many beautiful hatchlings with such fantastic colourations but can never seem to find any adult photos so I can see how they mature...

If anyone has any photos i'd love to see them!

Thanks

I'm going to bump this purely because i too have never seen adult pictures. However, when i google 'carpondro's' There are some pretty large ones that pop up in images but they all look so mouldy and quite ugly :\. Maybe this is why people don't post pictures of them? :lol2:
I Saw some insanely gorgeous baby carpondros at donny the other weekend :mf_dribble:

Anyone wanting to see a Carpondro in the flesh, get yourself over to Surrepy Pet Supplies. They have a stunning male on display in the little 'zoo' section of the shop.

I am a huge fan ..... I think they are incredible .. Hoping to produce them in the future...

A lot of people say that they turn muddy when adults but I think it's all down to the quality of the parents you start with ....

here 's a link to some incredible high blue carpondro

Hybrid Carpet - Green Tree Pythons

here 2 adult jagpondros

Thanks for the link!

I really dislike carpondros purely because I think GTPs are by far the best looking snake so shouldnt be messed with. But I saw a few carpondros down at lost world in kent, and they did look like a real crappy gtp that had dirty brown/ green colouring.

I think it all depends on what percentages they are as to how well they turn out.

I'm not decided on hybrids yet, but there I can't deny that some of those on the link that gabriel76 posted are pretty stunning animals.

:gasp: they are amazing, after a quick google search you do get some not so pretty ones but for the most part they look beautiful.....just getting my first GTP in a few weeks but this has just made it on to the WANT list :flrt:

This thread was never going to go smoothly. I think it's done alright for RFUK so far :2thumb:

I find that most wild-type herps that people describe as 'getting duller/uglier' are amazing as adults - Bismarck pythons, for example, or Merauke blue-tongue skinks.

From what I can see, the adults aren't a huge change in attractveness to the juvies. Like most hybrids, I think they look amazing but verge on gaudy. There's definitely something unnatural about them but it's kinda nice :whistling2:
