Im thinking of a red tail boa maybe some time next year as i was really close to getting an amazing female i saw and handled but couldn't get her at the time but she was £150 but she was around 7ft.
So im thinking as i dont know any boa breeders personally i thought id ask everyone on here for an asking price for a columbian/guyana redtail normal, motley and also albino as they are the 3 paint jobs im thinking about getting..

Thanks to anyone to comments and helps me out :2thumb:

Try Ian Kerr.

And you won't find paint jobs on redtails, just localities. If you want motleys or albino's you're going to have to look at common boas instead.
Not too sure of true red tail prices but I got my common albino last year for £200 and an anery motley for about twice that.

Columbian Boas are BCI, or Boa Constrictor Imperator. These are NOT Red Tailed boas, and are very often tried to be passed off as Red Tails. You ae very unlikely to get a decent Red tail for £150, if you see one, snap it up!!

BCC or Boa Constrictor Constrictor are true Red Tails. They are from Guyana, Suriname, North Brazil, Peru, Venezuela and some overlaps with other countries. They are AMAZING!!!! You'd probably be looking at around £250-300 for a really nice BCC Red Tail.

If you want a morph, you would be looking at Columbians if you want albino or motley.

But seriously, get yourself a BCC. I love my Guyana so much. :flrt:

Nope, a BCl morph... A Peruvian redtail..from the Zero bloodline..

Boa Constrictor Longicauda

EDIT..
Yeh, I just remembered they are BCL and not BCC :p

There are the .hets which are aslo anery if I remember rightly..

Check them out.. http://www.boa-constrictors.com/en/silver_zero_longicauda

I would not get the super form..which is the kinda stripey one .. I would get the hets and make the super form myself.. as the hets are over 1k each..

Hee hee....... was always gonna be Hermann at that price! Nice animals though.....I have some boas from Hermann and I love them. But it's a bit risky as they are possible hets, so there is an element of gamble in there......for that price..... Mind you, I prefer the look of the 'hets' to the actual Zeros, the black and white BCL are lovely.

Oh wow, nice price too! xP

Shame I am so skint at the moment! :S

But yeh, they are the ones I want to get, they are 100% Anery and 'possible het' Zero..

Like you though I like the anery ones better.. Herman Stokl does have some really awesome snakes.. I will give him his dues though, he gives all buyers a certificate of authenticity..And all his boas can be traced back to original imports.. like all his Sabogae can all be traced back to Pearl Island..
So I guess when he can prove the paper trail for his animals/Bloodlines, so you know 100% without doubt that you are getting what you pay for. Then I guess to people who are really into locales etc the extra price is worth it.

There was a guy at Doncaster selling CB surinames for £175 I know he had a male as I was tempted myself at that price, cannot remember his name for the life of me though sorry, but perhaps somebody else recalls, second row in from the entrance across from lexcorn. Ian might know if you PM him. :)
