Hi, I apologise in advance for this really dumb question and I know a lot of people won't really be able to relate.
I am a huge nyctophobe, and I literally cannot sleep without a lamp on. Today I got my first crested gecko, and obviously they are nocturnal animals so they are most active at night when it's dark.
Through the day he had a UV light on in his viv, but I turned it off about 2 hours ago.
Is there anyway I can sleep with my light on but still have it dark enough for my crestie? The lamp I use isn't particularly bright, and it is quite far away from the viv.
Before anyone asks, no I'm not a 12 year old girl. I'm 19 and yes, I know being afraid of the dark is stupid.
